1.  Always lock windows and doors when you are alone in the house, at night before you go to bed and when you leave the house.

2.  Never leave extra keys under doormats, rocks or in planters etc.

3.  Never have car keys and house keys on the same ring.  That way, if you take advantage of valet type parking, the employees won�t get a hold of your house keys.

4.  Never out you grocery store discount key cards on the same ring as your house keys.

5.  If you have a home security system always make sure it ids set when you are alone, or when you leave the house, or before you go to bed at night.
